Let's be clear, before Trump I was untrustworthy. But when he came along? BOY HOWDY did things go south!
We can chat all day about my dangerous hypocrisy , but let's jump to the big one that just came out. Biden released a 1.9 trillion Covid aid package. I was against it. I voted against it. Why? Are you not paying attention?? It makes the GOP look bad. Forget how great it is. The fact is, we didn't come up with it, so we're against it.
Fast forward to now. I released the following statement: "Five hospitals in my district will receive $12.9 million in grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Some of the hospitals receiving funding include the Adirondack Medical Center, the Carthage Area Hospital, and the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. This significant investment will help bolster rural hospitals in Upstate New York and the North Country after lost revenues due to the coronavirus pandemic, help address the physician shortage, and ensure these hospitals can continue to meet our community's healthcare needs."
The source of that funding I just praised about? Biden's 1.9 trillion Covid aid package that I voted against! This is a fact. This is real. This is who I am. Hypocrisy is my way. Think about this when you head to the polls.
